ABSTRACT:
Kiosk Management System is the online service that can be used in Reservation Centre’s which allows users to reserve various facilities. A computer reservations system (CRS) is a computerized system used to store and retrieve information and conduct transactions related to travel. Originally designed and operated by airlines, Hotel, A.P.S.R.T.C, Railways, they were later extended to travel agents as a sales channel; major CRS operations that book and sell tickets for multiple airlines, Hotel, A.P.S.R.T.C, and Railway are known as Global Distribution Systems (GDS). All the above have divested most of their direct holdings to dedicated Global Distribution System companies, and many systems are now accessible to consumers through Internet gateways for hotels, rental cars, and other services as well as these tickets.
INTRODUCTION
Online ticket reservation is an online ticket booking website, which is capable of booking a ticket and search the train, bus, and air availability. We can also check for room availability in hotels. This website is mainly created to fulfill the following requirement, it comprises the following properties.
A central database that will store all information.
•An online website that will provide real-time information about the availability of tickets, rooms, and their prices.
•Every registered user is able to view hi booking id that has been made in his/her name.
•Every registered user can search seat availability, room availability , price of the ticket ,arrival and departure time ,distance between source and destination etc..
•In admin mode the admin can change the details.
•The booking window contains all the details at one place, the user simply log his/her account and can book his ticket.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS:
EXISTING SYSTEM
Currently, whenever a person wants to travel by air, rtc, railway he has to go to the booking counter to book or to cancel or to postpone the ticket which was a very tedious task because the person needs to enquire booking or postponing of the ticket and for that the clerk has to search all the records present, manually one by one due to which other’s would be waiting for their turn for a long time.
DISADVANTAGES:
In this system the customer will not select seat number. The authorized people in this process will be the employee who works at the administration.
In this system the customer can book the tickets only for the present day. Advanced booking for the upcoming days are not included but can be included later.
Also, a printing system will not be in this project. In future, a ticket printing system can be integrated.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
In order to eliminate the drawbacks of the existing system, a system has been developed due to which the person need not spend much time in booking, canceling the ticket and instead server is built that takes care of every transaction thereby reducing the burden on customer and the clerk. This System Saves lot of time. In this project we will help users to find mode of journey details, rooms availability, book and cancel tickets and the exact rates of their tickets to the desired destination. With the help of online booking people can book their tickets and room online through internet, sitting in their home by single click of mouse. Using their credit cards people can easily get their tickets done with minutes.
